Pepsi had a skateboard team as early as 1977, touring the country and performing demonstrations on the iconic Pepsi plexiglass ramp. The team featured some of skateboarding’s top riders, including Stacy Peralta, Jerry Valdez, and Waldo Autry, among others. Their exhibitions helped bring skateboarding to new audiences and showcased the sport during one of its most influential eras.
