The legendary PIPELINE Skatepark was located in Upland, California. Unveiled by Stan and Jeanne Hoffman in May 1977 it was dubbed “the world’s first vertical skatepark,” and was one of the few ’70s skateparks to survive into the late ’80s. Until it closed in 1988, it hosted many influential contests and was featured in numerous films
